LightXtreme VPN Data Protection Policy

Some information is gathered when you use LightXtreme VPN, and this policy is where you find out what it is, why it is needed and who may see it. The collection is kept deliberately narrow, limited to what makes a VPN work, never turned into a product of its own, and never sold. Revisions of this document are always published on this site.

1. What gets recorded

Account and plan information

Opening an account or taking a plan brings us your email address, the order and the payment record, how many devices the plan allows and the date it ends, and those items are how we recognise your account, switch the service on and help you afterwards.

Connection entries in the app

The app writes temporary connection entries, including the node, the time and any error codes, so that a session stays stable and a fault can be pinned down. No browsing content, password or history is inside them, and they are never used to build a picture of your activity.

Details seen when you visit

Using the website sends us technical facts such as browser, device model, language, the referring page and the time of arrival, which feed traffic counts and page performance, and a third-party statistics script may rely on a cookie that you are free to clear or block.

2. Why it is recorded

Each item collected has a job: switching your subscription on and keeping it in good order, delivering encrypted connections and protecting their quality, answering refund and support requests, stopping abuse and fraud, and moving the product and the website forward.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not turn it into advertising profiles or marketing lists, except where law compels us, where you consent plainly, or where a payment you started depends on it.

3. Companies involved

Payments run through Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play and Stripe, who handle what you enter under their own privacy rules; the client connects to servers we operate so the service can run, your traffic crosses an encrypted tunnel, and node operators have no visibility of the content you request.

Keeping the channel secure

Data on the wire is protected by Shadowsocks, Vless and WireGuard encryption and algorithms such as AES-256-GCM, and the account operations you make between site and client are carried over HTTPS.

4. How long records live, and your say

Account and plan information is kept while you are a customer and for a limited period after, serving support and compliance, whereas connection entries disappear quickly once they have done their job; write to the service email to ask for an export, a correction or removal of your personal data, which is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period of the account closing.

For customers under 18

The service is offered to adults. If the law says you are not yet an adult where you live, please read this policy with a guardian and use the service only with their approval.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes, and each update appears on this website; carrying on with LightXtreme VPN means you accept the version published at that time.
